Please note that the information in this website is for your interest. Once you are booked on a course, you will be sent all the necessary details for your stay prior to your departure. In addition, on arrival at your accommodation in Cape Town, you will be given a comprehensive package containing all the necessary information for the duration of your stay.

Per diem is to be dispensed by each trainee’s current mission at approximately ZAR140 or USD17 per day (before arriving in SA).
If not currently in a mission, please contact Tandi (firstname.lastname@example.org) before arriving in South Africa.
On arrival, you should be picked up at the airport and taken to your accommodation. If, for whatever reason, this doesn’t happen, please report to the Sport 24 kiosk at the airport or call their office on 021 447 4444.
MSF uses the African Heart guesthouse, where breakfast is provided.
Clinical courses will be conducted in Ministry of Health (MoH) clinics and hospitals. White coats are not essential but please dress appropriately in semi-formal attire. Ensure you bring your stethoscope for hospital and clinic visits .
